Dec 2008 - As you all know Mum passed away peacefully at home on 12th Aug 2008. Now 4 months on from that we all still miss her dearly and she never leaves our thoughts for long. We have had two lovely occasions in Mum's honor since she died, firstly her funeral, held on 29th Aug at Findon Crematorium. I'm sure those close friends and family who attended will all agree it was a lovely service. We were able to carry out Mum's wishes for funeral. I know she would have been pleased. On 20th Oct 08 we held a 'celebration of Sue's life' in Big School at Christ's hospital. This was an open invitation memorial and we were so happy to see so many of Mum's friends and family there. A very big thank you to everyone who contributed by writing and reading their happy memories. It was obvious how much Mum was loved and how much she did for a lot of people. We placed spring bulbs on the tables for all the guests to take home with them, I hope they look lovely in gardens (all over the country) in the spring. I know I will be remided of Mum when I see the first signs of Spring next year. We're so pleased to have a new baby boy Charman thanks to Graham and Nina! Jack Lucas was born premature on 4th Dec. He is doing really well and we are hoping he will be out of hospital and able to come to Larks Lea for Christmas day.
